This folder holds editorial and manifest guidance for the InfoPreserver v1.8 draft. It explains what the test copy contains, how it was verified, and how reviewers should evaluate classification decisions before the structure becomes canonical.
The most important principle is provenance safety: the Library folder is a working copy, not the original source collection. Editorial changes should be made as path mappings and manifest updates, then regenerated into a new hash-verified copy. Source originals should not be silently moved or edited.
